Most of my SWL over the years was on old valve gear, Codars, Heathkit and the like and I even built some basic sets. My current setup is a simple Lowe HF225, (but she does pull them in). But this looks like a nice bit of kit!

It power up and all seems to be working Ok. She is very very clean. Got all the user manuals and so on with it. Like I said will get it running over the weekend and give you a shout when Video is done.

There has to be boys and toys, or what else to we get. We need that freedom does't matter if its footbal, darts, fishing and best of all keying up the mic and getting a call further than your last one. Watching your football at the weekend supporting you team and if its UTD or Liverpool it has a name/brand etc. Thats why I feel that it is important for when your on your radio you have your brand, a well knowen brand that sticks out just as Charlie Tango is the brand we want
