Hi Rich,
Welcome to Charlie Tango DX.
Isn't that just typical? We must've had two or three new members in Bedfordshire recently after I spent months earlier in the year fruitlessly shouting out on CB frequencies! However I did enjoy shooting some summer skip into Europe on SSB this year. I went on to get my Ham ticket in the end as it seemed CB was dead in our area.
Anyway, callsigns are usually issued most days so you shouldn't have to wait too long, but bear in mind admin are volunteers....we like to take the odd Sunday off

Hi Rich, I'm a new member too and also in Bedfordshire so hopefully we'll get QSO at some point, and with Victor too (yes, I am trying to learn the Q codes as it was all 10 codes when I was last on in the 80's!)
