HI Mick.

A pity you could not make it, Grrrr to work getting in the way.
Weather was not so bad, Up there you never quite know what to expect.
Friday was challenging on 11mtr, a bit slow at times and a few reasonable contacts.
Saturday was a lot better plenty, of Europe. Sat eve opened up to North America.
Jeff was brilliant at pulling in some U.S contacts, and also managed a Canada contact.

We had a visit from Northern Ireland, Paul, CT number to come ( written it down but can't fins it just yet ) was great, he is fluent in German.
There was a German contest over the weekend, Paul sat there and chatted in German. we then put him onto FM lower bands. I have never heard such a pile up,
you could not make out any call sign. It was mental, the more Paul called CQ Deutschland, the worse it got.

It was a great weekend, lots of food mainly by top Buxton 3 star chef Mr AL, and Ozzy sorting out food as well.
A few people logged early this morning on 11, low cloud came in so we started break down by 9am.

I will post the log sheet later this week in order of UK and others

Many thanks to all who attended, it was a real pleasure.

Cheers for now

Andy
