make sure the pole 'ISN'T' a carbon fiber one as the carbon in the pole will mess with the swr reading, to bring your swr down keep folding the top down until you get a good reading.

Hi Graham, if I remember correctly I bent the top of mine over so it was 102" long this made it spot on for the whole 11 meter band,

Once you have changed the pole to glass fibre the T2LT will swr right down. What length have you made the bottom sleeved section ?, if you have made it to the 102" plan, the start to SWR the top section at 98 inches, you wont be far off 1:1 when you start.
When in doubt...............................Get the radio out !

I use a T2LT as my main homebase antenna on a 6M roach pole strapped to a moonraker adjustable telescopic pole. I waterproofed the antenna using heat shrink and to strengthen where the outer braid was cut. I use 100mm wide double sided velcro to fasten the pole to the mast which works great and is secure.

These antennas are a bit like Marmite, you either like em or loath em....... :sneaky:

regards
May the propergation be with you
