Roy, i would love to take part i have a question about this one:

Such stations must be located in places that are not regular station locations. The use of a car, truck, boat, caravan, etc. is permitted.

I go mobile once or twice a week to a secluded location so i can take my dogs and keep out of harms way. Is this by your terms classed as regular. Its only me that goes there, well me and the three mutts, and to be honest ive been so strapped for time i have been there once a week for the last two weeks. May was nearly a complete right off for me.

I will pop an email to Syl as well.

Me thinks that a 6 element Yagi from Buxton / Portable should be very useful for this DX contest.

Looking forward to all the Buxton guys working some good DX with it.

Hi Andy,
If its battery power or even a generator power and a 100% portable station , then you are more than welcome to take part.

Take a look at some examples here Click for LINK

No probs with generator power, mostly use a Honda genny for all my /P work. Will chat with Al and a few others. There may be a few members that want to have a go at the contest. I will leave it to the Majority to decide over the weekend. Andy

Ok Andy,
Just one little point mate... this is not aimed at TEAMS... its aimed at individual operators.

Although operators can take someone along just to hold their hand :D

For example your contest qrz would be 26CT1591/DAP = ( DA Portable )

So Andy should decide to take part, can you please contact Syl.

Atm we have 13 operators from 8 different DXCC's registered to take part.

Thanks for your interest Andy
