a few people have very kindly invited me to this get together. unfortunately, i'll be in scotland for a music festival. didn't realise that the 2 dates clashed when i booked the tickets for the event north of the border a few months ago.

apologies to all but i hope you all have an absolute blast :)

Hi, I would really like to attend the meeting if it's ok? It would be great to meet you all. It depends on other commitments and I'd have a better idea closer to the time but as it's fairly close by me it would be a shame to miss the opportunity.

I take a small gas stove and frying pan with me, also a bbq, will cook burgers or whatever I have and sell them cheap to try and make money to pay for the hire of the hall, when I`m done you are more than welcome to use it to cook your own food. Kettle is there, elec, water, toilets and shower, 2 large rooms, can camp out in the field or inside.

Buxton Bash Crew
Looking forward to the Bash I'm gonna start the ball rolling with a donation of £10 for the hall hire, I know how
much time and effort organising these events take.
we don't want Al sat at the bbq trying to raise funds for the hall all weekend lol.
So come on chaps lets make the weekend a little easier for the guys doing the organising.

Thank you Steve, we do need to charge a small amount for camping and will have the hat ready to accept any donations on the day but nice to have £10 to look forward to so again a big thank you.
Hope you still want a burger though lol
Looking forward to it, lots of new names interested and the long term weather forecast is for a long hot summer, although I`ll believe that when I`m sat outside the hall in me shorts enjoying a nice cold beer :)

HI Al.

Looks like everything is coming together for me now, trailer tower was easy at Brandside, now designing a 5 element OP DES, which might become a 6 element by the time July weekend comes around. I have got the driven element built, the rest will follow very easily.
I just hope the weather is kind to us.

This was a test run for the trailer tower at Buxton, also I was taking part in a 24 hour VHF contest on 2 mtr. Tower goes in nicely, will look even better with a 5 or 6 element for 11 meter on top of it.
