Im stick to death of this weather but I am too lazy to jump on my personnel jet and head off to my own private caribbean island. Anyway this weather is one reason I keep my Gainmaster mounted low down so I can pop out the garden and in less than a minute it's down and resting safely on the ground. I don't really bother with local chit chat on the radio just DX when the conditions are good so the height is not really an issue for me.

Keep safe dudes and watch those antennas.

It has rained almost every day for 3 months here.

Bit fed up now, as I have not been out on the mountain bike since mid November. I can only hope that we will have a nice dry spring & summer to make up for it.

I was out on the tops this afternoon and it was thoroughly miserable: The temp was 3c, with a mixture of hail/sleet/rain and strong winds. When I unplugged the antenna I got a static-shock.
