Hi I had a midland 78 plus (PR 27/97) not sure what the PR27/97 is but that's for another time, my problem is when I have it wired up to a battery (that's fully charged) and I also have my CRT wired up and my T2LT in the back and then key up on lets say CH1 UK FM I don't receive any kind of signal, the radio came without a mic so would that have anything to do with my problem? or is it something on the inside?

Many thanks and 73's
Richard

Richard you can get the proper original replacement mic from here mate and you will know it will work unlike if you chance getting it from maplins :$ thats if they know what ya talking about when you ask them
look down the list of mics and you will see them

The CRT is the CRT ONE and the Midland is the 78 plus the Midland and the CRT was sat next to each other on the same FM channel and every time I would key up on the CRT I was getting nothing on the Midland don't have a mic for it yet but as soon as I do get one I will be trying again and will let you know what happens

make sure the midland is on the correct band as it is an 80 channel radio
pr27/97 means it's 40 mids and 40 muppets
