Hi all I am after some advice on QRM and my $ony laptop at times I can pick up GB3NS Output frequency: 439.6750MHz but its not very good so one time when I heard a QSO going on I looked to see what could be done to improve my reception so I switched of my LCD Monitor with minor improvements but the biggest was when I switched off my laptop, this is an ok solution for now but when I get my licence I hope to QSO with users on any repeater Before I sign off on this I have listed my gear so you can see where you can give me advice Radio Baofeng UV-5R Antennas SainSonic INF-661 and a so called ‘Nagoya NA-771’ The laptop in a $ony Vaio I3 6GB windows 7 even booting up the PC causes problems MY QTH is IO91XM about a mile NE of Canary Wharf Thanks all in advance any advice welcome AlphaWere AKA Glen M6 In training |
