![]() Need some help finding a "8 Pin Din Cable" for the controller, nothing in the manual for the rotator / controller. looked on the normal sites but atm found nothing?. Any help finding such cable would be of great help. |

Not really i was after a compleat cable! Let me explain a bit more, Rotator cable connects inside the black box! ![]() Other end of the rotator cable connects to the back of the controller ![]() The 8 pin din cable connects to the back of the controller and then the radio! ![]() I hope now you understand why i need the 8 pin din cable

Are you sure that's for rig control? don't see any mention of it in the manual. I use a G-800sa rotator that doesn't have rig control as standard. I had to build a board and relays to allow rig control, see my qrz page for details. Fm |

Yes i am sure thats for controlling the rotator via the controller/radio, i agrre nothing found in the manual for that which is strange. (i did do research about this rotator & controller before buying it) However that said i did read some where that the 8 din on the back is for what i have described already, i'll try and find the link. |

Got a feeling you're going to be disappointed on this, the place where I got my kit from http://schmidt-alba.de/eshop/index.php list the kr400rc as being able to use their kit. Yeah i have that sinking feeling of disappointed, but oh well will have to make do with what i have and be greatful. next time i will buy a decent antenna rotator ![]() Just have to wait now for better weather so i can have the installation finished Life is full of disappointments...

Have a look at the link I posted, they do a kit for the kr400rc as well. Easy to build and works a treat. I control mine via Ham Radio Deluxe. Fm |
