I get the same thing from my anytone 5555 stock speaker. Its very low and muffled. It does not interfere with tx but is a little annoying.

I suggest you try a ferrite ring, speaker wires often act as an antenna, try keeping the wire as short as poss between radio and the position of the speaker, speaker wires normally come in 2 metre lengths, just as a 'Try' you could coil the wire so it's short and wrap some cooking foil around it to shield it, that way it will tell you if you're giving yourself 'TVI'

It's not an unknown issue with the BHI speaker - check out the BHI FAQ's https://www.bhi-ltd.com/pages/pages/faqs.html

BHI

Q. The transmitted signal can be heard through the speaker.
A1. Try the speaker on a separate power supply. If this fails see our RF feedback helpsheet.
A2. This can be caused if your system and antenna are not very efficient. You need to get the swr as low as possible at the antenna feed point otherwise transmissions may be reflected back down the cable into your setup

(there's a couple of links to the helpsheets at the bottom of the BHI page)

If the answer A2 is anything to go by then the helpsheets are probably going to be as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

The correct answer to A2 has nothing to do with antenna efficiency or low SWR and everything to do with a poor/non-existent RF ground at the antenna so the coax is being used as one.

Hi guys just tried another speaker and it still doing the same thing may try a few ferrite rings on the speaker wire and see what happens .
