hi,

I were wonder if anybody had come across this issue.

The radio transmits and receives ch1-40 on the Cept frequencies but then turning the channel selector again it shows ch41 the EU light changes to uk but it starts back 26.965 and continues through upto ch80.

Is there a combination of buttons to press like on multiform radios to reprogram or is this radio beyond repair. This a shame as it's a nice compact size for the car.

Thanks in advance.

It might have been set on German settings does the first 40 on Cept go AM & FM then when it goes to 41 it will only stay on FM if it does ints been put on German settings cos thats how there frequencies are are out there ,if the link that has been posted is right for your radio it should tell you how to put back to UK settings by pressing the button sequences

I found a PDF of the owners Manual http://www.cbradio.nl/team/Manual_Team_ME4_ENG_DE_FR_ITA.pdf

it is in English but you have to go through it

Also did you buy this radio second hand or brand new cos TBH looking around I dont think the ME4 is for the UK market anyway so it would't be able to go on UKFM frequencies (the none Cept part) if this is true it maybe why its on German settings only

Thank you guys for the info.

This is a UK market radio as seen from the image below.

[imgw=500]http://www.laserarena.eu/TEAM-ME4_uk_version.jpg[/imgw]

It looks like the PLL may have gone faulty if there is no multi-norm setting on this radio.

Tis a shame as its a nice compact size :/

Cheers once again...

Well I'm not saying your wrong mate but the specs show its not a UK spec radio as it does not have the UK 40 ie: the 27/81 frequencies fitted and also its not a Euro multi , if you look at the link Razor posted it shows the spec , if you want a very good small Euro multi radio have a look at the President Teddy

There definitely seems to have been a uk version available although picture shown on the website above is the generic.

Looks like an Albrecht mini radio or the president teddy I do like presidents

Cheers
