The CT Site contains many reviews, tips and modifications within the forums, and we take pride that no sensible question is ever left unanswered, and nobody is ever belittled or mocked for asking an honest question, no matter how simple it may seem. We were all new to the hobby once.

It's probably not actually Phil :(

He has someone follow him around, recording his voice and playing it back constantly, so it is not necessarily Phil (even though it's his voice)

I could just hear you lot in Lincolnshire last night, tried calling to your net but I don't think you heard me...Going to be altering my antenna with a little more height, and swapping the boomerang for either my sirio signal keeper or my silverrod, so I'll see if that brings you any clearer.

I've watched all your videos Dave, I'm one of your subscribers on Youtube

There is a 43 Div Stn who with quite regularity uses an internet repeater in 16 Div to call.

Heard him a few weeks ago and thought it strange. Bit of research and the answer became clear.

I have his QRZ in the shack...

When the propagation gods are happy anything is possible.

I have also had and few VK's ITL on FM on a few other bands. 43 on 11m evades me to this day.

When I moved to Australia in early 2000, I had my HF rig scanning a bunch of frequencies. Mostly in the 10m band, but one of the memories was set to ch19 UKFM. I wanted to see if I could ever hear UK CB in Australia. And once... only once... I heard a Yorkshire truck driver calling for a 10:13.

That part of the spectrum is marine and other non-CB stuff here. You'd get your nads chewed off for pirate use.
