Hi You were asking about the CJU Antenna. I made one and it works ok on 70cm & 446mhz. Take a look on my website. http://g6ohm.webs.com/antennadesigns.htm

Thanks Andy, I must admit I was sceptical about what type of performance a CJU antenna would give, but I have been pleasantly suprised. I enjoy constructing antenna at 70cm frequencies because of the small size considerations. I have no way of 'scientifically' measuring the performance of this antenna ( and there is little I have have found on the web) but it out performs my 4 element yagi, my moxon, and my slim jim. I have not built a 5/8 vertical yet so have no comment on this. All of these antenna are used by me on a location in South Wales at 225 meters asl. and I have been using a contact on the Malborough downs to make my comparison tests. 73's, Tony , 163CT059 |
