Charlie Tango DX is a group dedicated to Hobby Radio Users in all forms, whether CB, Amateur, PMR446, Scanning and Short Wave Listening.
We are a very active and friendly group that welcomes anyone from anywhere in the world who has an interest in Radio, regardless of their level of experience, their equipment, their location, or their radio preference. We have members varying from fully qualified operators on the Amateur Bands, to newcomers who have just bought a PMR446 set, and many CBers both old and new. All are equal on the Site.

The CT Site contains many reviews, tips and modifications within the forums, and we take pride that no sensible question is ever left unanswered, and nobody is ever belittled or mocked for asking an honest question, no matter how simple it may seem. We were all new to the hobby once.

my router in the past played up like that, but what it was...the new driver I had just updated was not so good, rolled back to my previous driver and been great since. I would be connected then not, so give it a try and check the driver. If you got a ethernet cable try plugging it straight into back of router if you are currently wireless.

Hi Robbie, thanks for the advice, but there is only the Virgin white cable going into the router and I dont want to touch that, so far today my computer is working ok so I will wait and see what the Virgin enginear says. :thumb:

Hi James,
Welcome to CT DX group.
Might hear you on the bands over the summer as I do hear some 108 division when the short skip is happening.
Do you use Woodstock as a handle on UK FM ?
Do you use any other bands and if so whats your call-sign ?
Enjoy the forum,
Nik

Hi James, welcome from 108 division.

Fm
Thanks for the welcome guys, the tv engineer came yesterday, and replaced my new router with an other new one, every thing seems to be working ok now.
As I previously said I have returned to the hobby after about 30 years, there does not seem to be so many breakers on the air in my location but some of the old ones are still there.
I would like to request a CT 11m call sign as I hope t upgrade my set when AM becomes legal next week,
Best regards to all, Woodstock, (james) :thumb:

Hi Nick, I used the handle Woodstock 30 years ago so I have decided to use it again as there does not seem to be anybody using it in my neck of the woods. I don't use any other bands at the moment but hope to upgrade to a better radio, at the moment I am using a CRT S-MINI but I am considering buying a President Grant 2. :thumb:
