I've seen somewhere (and unfortunatly didnt make a note) on the internet a radio that covers TX on 2m, 70cm, PMR446 and RX on airband.
This would be perfect for me as I'm also into plane spotting at Heathrow however I cant find it since I was just searching and didnt note the site or make/model.
Does anyone know of any radios with these TX and RX capabilities?

I think most dual band hand helds could do that. My Kenwood TH-G71E does (Not fully sure about PMR446 but I think I did before my XYL got her license) That radio is 14 years old

Maybach,
that was the radio I saw, thanks. Now just to find a cheaper one.

Bigtone,
the average dual bands cover TX / RX on amateur bands and are not really for scanning.

Maybach, what mod is required to add PMR446 TX?

Nope, it only covers limited VHF and UHF bands

I've been trying to get a 2-in-1 -> covering TX on 2m / 70cm / PMR446 and RX for airband as a minimum

This is only to reduce the requirement for scanners and transceivers (and accessories) so I use one radio.

I can then set it up well in my car and home - I also drive around Heathrow a lot tuned to airband then amateur on the drive home (or when airband is boring).
