You have all heard of the album series "Now that's what I call music!" and you read the list of tracks and go "UH?"
Here's your chance to tell us all what "Floats your boat"

Here's my first shot, kind of sums me up, lol
Joe Walsh "Analog Man"

Sure would Ronnie. Im surprised the shack bench hasn't collapsed. That AR88 receiver is HEAVY, I bet the rest of the gear would need a fork truck to shift it!!

Anyway here's Status Quo's comeback single in 1972. THEY ROCK here

Set the volume control to 11

The who, stones, zep, eagles, early genesis are my favs but tbh i like the skin scene too but lately thanks to George 13ct025 ive been quite taken by these norweigen girls and the ability to play approx 10 instruments each is something in its self....not to eveyones taste...

Coooore that takes me back Tony. First ever concert I ever sore was Status Quo here in Kent when I was 6. I had some great stories for school the next day ;)

Listened to alot of rock growing up as that was the only thing in the house. The air guitar was constantly out

Im a bit late to the party as I thought you chaps would snub my "young whipper snapper" type music :P

But as Tony mentioned in the first post ive gone off all the pop :censor: you get all all those Now that's what I call commercial rubbish.

My mix of music comprises currently of A mix of: Drum and Bass, this was the next main genre of music I got into after Rock. I was heavily into bands such as Pendulum and Prodigy. Some tracks still had that rock essence which was what I liked. Was alot more extreme and had a complete feel to it compared to modern day dnb.
I listen to alot of electronic music currently, comes in a few different forms and varieties of artists. Also a bit of trance and alot of dance but not always modern.
I listen to some more downtempo tunes as well. Can apreciate the odd Jazz, Acid Jazz and some other chill tunes.
But I do find I go off on one and listen to some classics I keep in my collection. Heres some samples of each:

Drum and Bass, Pendulum/Prodigy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsjzB-TKSG4 --- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EiqFcc_l_Kk
Electronic, Justice/Deadmau5: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QCBkwmsOk0 --- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auIy9YNxFDk
Trance/Dance, Faithless (I do Love faithless)/Sub Focus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCvVatG16NE --- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWRJbHmvtIU&list=FLIgLPjEfCGY_HZPpA0dcIzg
Chill tunes, Bakermat/Bill Withers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3632nFl0qE&list=FLIgLPjEfCGY_HZPpA0dcIzg --- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDedQM-EkPg&list=FLIgLPjEfCGY_HZPpA0dcIzg&feature=mh_lolz
And some classics, Animals/Pink Floyd: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRXb7K7k7bQ&list=FLIgLPjEfCGY_HZPpA0dcIzg --- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zACEJdFOpA

Did you know that when Pink Floyd were recording "Shine on you Crazy Diamond" there was a man hanging around.
It was only later that Rick Wright realised that it was Syd Barratt (Rest in Peace, both)

peter gabriell, solsbury hill,a true classic.alanah myles, black velvet, cracking song. im into early 80s stuff,80/83 the new romantics,my kind of stuff, also love punk, sex pistols/dead kennedys/clash/slf,and whole load others,if im in for a night of listening music, and on vinyl I must add, cant beat vinyl, most my music is vinyl, then my listening choices are punk or new romantics, sometimes if mood takes me I like bit club, dance music, trance hard house that kind stuff.i love my music more than I do ham radio,if I ever had give up either my music or radio, could only have one them, then afraid radio would go,could not live withouth my music. spent more cash on hifi than I have on radio gear.have around 500 cds in my collection, and around 3000,yes three thousand pieces of vinyl, all mint,as I collect vinyl. can not beat good old vinyl and a seperates hifi system.
