Charlie Tango DX is a group dedicated to Hobby Radio Users in all forms, whether CB, Amateur, PMR446, Scanning and Short Wave Listening.
We are a very active and friendly group that welcomes anyone from anywhere in the world who has an interest in Radio, regardless of their level of experience, their equipment, their location, or their radio preference. We have members varying from fully qualified operators on the Amateur Bands, to newcomers who have just bought a PMR446 set, and many CBers both old and new. All are equal on the Site.

The CT Site contains many reviews, tips and modifications within the forums, and we take pride that no sensible question is ever left unanswered, and nobody is ever belittled or mocked for asking an honest question, no matter how simple it may seem. We were all new to the hobby once.

If you join Charlie Tango you'll be able to access member-only sections, and use member-only features such as customizing your profile, sending personal messages, voting in polls, viewing modifications and more.

Another Sunday and another hill, the summit is 1771 feet ASL, I stopped at 1600 feet to stay out of the cloud. I could again hear some of the stations in the south west net.

Just two contacts on the net channels, my good friend Paul CT1184 who was on another hill about a mile away, and Roger GB13 who very kindly tried to patch me through.

The bad weather rolled in so I didn't hang around, I had a seven mile wet and windswept dusk ride home.

It is a shame that the SSB crowd on here aren't tempted to have a go on FM on Sundays.

I think it unlikely I'll be out next Sunday with it being near the shortest daylight day, but you never know.

That is an amazing location, and you must be tough as old boots to brave it up there in this weather, cudos to you mate !

Shame there wasn't more people on, I'm sure a T2LT coax antenna on a fishing pole would double or treble your range though.

Thankyou for sharing, I'm positive you will have some amazing long distance contacts soon, that location must be a prime spot.

The video don't work on iPad !
As far as I know, that's because iPads have problems playing Flash.

You could either search for Flash players for IPad, or go to the video directly:
