It would be nice to see an interactive map where all involved could flag the locotion they will be active from, looking good for me to activate Lords Lot unless we get another veiwing on the house that day, could always leave the mrs to handle it
Will be able to work east and west coast also quite far up into Scotland as I can open Scotish 2m repeaters from here :thumb: .

That's a shame Mick, but if you are not well then you're not. Better to rest and get well before heading out! I have also had to miss the net today due to a family medical problem.

I share in your frustration, but these things do happen when we least expect or want them!

Good luck to all today, hope its a good one!!

So far conditions where I am are not too good, I can hear some action under the static but not enough to move the signal meter.

Thanks to Mick 26CT592 and Gary 26CTX104 for the qsos. :thumb:

I struggled on the net due to a couple of s-points of hash, which was only on ch34. I think the problem was, because I was high up and centralised, I was picking up stations from all points of the compass and everybody was coming in together. Lol.

Nothing heard in the Beattock hills. :(

There was a murmouring in the noise on 34 which I am certain was CT activity. But way to weak to work. And for a moment I jumped to the mic when a strong signal came through on 32, but it was European skip.

So far I've only heard skip. No workable ground wave.

Shame, I was looking forward to getting a CT contact sorted. Maybe next time.

Never made it up the mountain today. Gutted :( My Aunt and Uncle said they would take me up but they bailed at the last moment :'( I really wanted to get in this net. Particularly wanted to talk to Jack and Roy. I did manage 1 contact to Carl 26CTX1053 from 0 asl on a pier while I was fishing with the family. But to make matters worse, I had some ignorant farmers blasting out Carl who would't shutup.

Im glad to hear the net was a success for everyone else :) Particularly in my south east QTH. Tony and Martin, you've been racking up some great contacts :)

I hope to go up the same mountain that I was going to go up today, later this week. Ill take my gear and see if I can get some contacts then :)

Cheers :)

Sounds like we had some great radio activity today and thanks to everyone who took part :thumb:

Just got back from South Wales and the log is right at the bottom of the rucksack, so will list the contacts tomorrow.

Was hearing Kent at times, but best contact of the day was to Carl up on the N.Yorks Moors - 188 miles :thumb:

Shame it's the last Bank Holiday for the summer, but roll on the Xmas Nets :)

My location was Pen y Gadair Fawr (800m, 2625ft ASL).
