Celebrating 32 years of legal CB radio in the UK!

As it falls on a Saturday this year we have the ideal opportunity to make a full day of it and as OFCOM (more or less) promised they would legalise AM/SSB by the autumn I have included channel 32 mid band USB along with the usual channel 32 UKFM.

If the AM/SSB legalisation does go ahead this years celebrations will be especially important as most stations have called for these modes for many years.

So what do you think?

Please post ideas/plans for "The BIGGER Net 2013" below!

Could be moving over to your neck of the woods around that time Del, two people are definately interested in buying the house in Hexham just waiting for the silly offers to come in lol, the flat we hoped to get in Whitley Bay has been taken by the person renting the shop downstairs as part of a package deal for storage and office space but the owner who is a friend of the xyl has two flats in Blyth getting refurbished and has said we can take one of those rent free untill a one closer to the xyls work in Whitley becomes available so you might be hearing me loud  from the white van with the antenna farm on the roof and a bank of leasure batteries in the back for the help, anywhere around there cheap to store a 20ft 4 berth yacht on a trailer?

Pleased to see you still promoting the yearly celebration of legal ukfm cb delboy, and I will also be celebrating it too.

I just think that maybe its nice to keep with the spirit of things, and use a legal radio with legal power output for the night. As such I think I will drag my midland portapack out of the cupboard heheh !

Yes I hope to be somewhere up the Ochil Hills as long as the high winds aren't too strong. Ill be using my handle K9 and an old K40 magmount which I found in the loft which I used to use in the 80s and it still looks as good as when I first got it. 73s all.
