Hi all,

Looking to buy this radio next week.

Its in good condition and works well, apparently.

Had one a while back but there was a bad wiring problem with it.

Hoping to get some reviews of this radio from people who have owned one or still do.

Many thanks

Rgards

The Harvard 407 is just an Amstrad/Mustang mobile rig with a power supply in a big box. Depends how you rate this chassis :doh2: Not the best design but not the worst either. At the end of the day if it's in good working order then it will work well. Recommend a mic with a sharper sound for it.

Quite right Dave i believe its based on the Amstrad 901 board. The audio is quite good with an astatic mic on there.

Solid homebases that do what they say on the tin - Amstrad inside, but apart from a poppy squelch, do just fine.
