Charlie Tango DX is a group dedicated to Hobby Radio Users in all forms, whether CB, Amateur, PMR446, Scanning and Short Wave Listening.
We are a very active and friendly group that welcomes anyone from anywhere in the world who has an interest in Radio, regardless of their level of experience, their equipment, their location, or their radio preference. We have members varying from fully qualified operators on the Amateur Bands, to newcomers who have just bought a PMR446 set, and many CBers both old and new. All are equal on the Site.

The CT Site contains many reviews, tips and modifications within the forums, and we take pride that no sensible question is ever left unanswered, and nobody is ever belittled or mocked for asking an honest question, no matter how simple it may seem. We were all new to the hobby once.

If you join Charlie Tango you'll be able to access member-only sections, and use member-only features such as customizing your profile, sending personal messages, voting in polls, viewing modifications and more.

Well, here we are- the BIG day! Anyone else got that kind of Christmas Eve sense of excitement inside? :D

Here's hoping you all have great success and that the skip gods do their bit for us.

All the best, :thumb:

Sorry Brian I was gone by the time you posted your question. We were just running alongside the main net as a kind of subnet. Very sub as it happened with only 1 contact this side and that was outside the time slot :/
It was Brazil though which I haven't done in years. 3ET154

Didn't manage to make the trip into the Western Isles which is a shame. I was hopeful on that but alas naay.Always another time though.

Got some more pics to upload soon of the set up- weather was pretty good too and made it a pleasure to be among the hills. Saw owls and hawks going about their business and loads of other birds of various descriptions.

Loads of funny looks from passers by as it is a favourite spot for bird spotters and windmill watchers. Pesky varmints

It looks however like the Easter Net as a whole has been a great success. Already long lists of contacts appearing here on the forum so very well done lads and lasses. Bring on the summer skip and we'll be on them thar lists too :)

Cheers

I just had the phone but it seems to take pretty decent pictures for what it is. When I saw how many birds were swooping about I wished I'd taken me camera real though!
