I have just recently sold a boxed Multi Mode 11 it reached £120 which I thought was a good price, but the price of this example is a little but above what you would expect to pay for a minter :o

I think its people trying to cash in on the CB revival what happening as such, also have you noticed the same sellers on the bay seem to have a lot of loft finds and one of there parents always seems to have a lot of radios that they used to use back in the day  and want to sell but know nothng about them ;) ;)

Ouch. That is a heck of a price for what I always (IMHO) thought of as a pretty mediocre radio. Frankly it is about three times what I would pay for one, regardless of condition.

But hard-core collectors are a funny lot . . . . and if one of them decided it is a MUST HAVE for his (or her) Collection, then who knows what it'd go for. I can think of many things, radio and otherwise, that I would prefer to spend that sort of money on rather than a Multimode II

Most of the bids are by a 'newbie'. If it was my item I would have thought long and hard about 'newbies' bidding though. Maybe a spot of shill bidding going on?

I'm a bugger for checking the bidding list and this i***o has been active on a couple of other radios that I got outbid on.

Still you know what they say....." a fool and his money are soon parted".

Also, has anyone seen that other nutter on ebay trying to flog Moonraker Minors for £131.52!!

Another £20 and you've got a 5555, or DX5000 etc
