Hi all

There was a guy on fleabay that used to 'fix' his Morse Key auctions. This was before the bidders were hidden, so what he did was set up private auctions, but he always followed the same pattern. He would wait until he got the first bid on a key and then jump on and add a fifty quid bid.

I followed about 15-20 of his auctions and every time the same, 99p bid by a real bidder (as far as I know), followed by a 50 quid bid by him.

This went on for maybe two or three months, then one day I noticed that his feedback showed him as no longer being a member...

I always find with fleabay that it's not worth bidding over the odds for anything. As soon as one item sells for silly money then everyone else that has one tries to dump theirs on there expecting the same price. Very often you can get the second one for a fraction of the price that the first item sold for.

I find it funny when an item is listed as coming from a non-smoking pet free home. You look at the photograph of the rig and find that it's propped up on a cigarette packet, and in the background you can see a greyhound peeing up the furniture!
