Charlie Tango DX is a group dedicated to Hobby Radio Users in all forms, whether CB, Amateur, PMR446, Scanning and Short Wave Listening.

We have members varying from fully qualified operators on the Amateur Bands, to newcomers who have just bought a PMR446 set, and many CBers both old and new. All are equal on the Site.

The CT Site contains many reviews, tips and modifications within the forums, and we take pride that no sensible question is ever left unanswered, and nobody is ever belittled or mocked for asking an honest question, no matter how simple it may seem. We were all new to the hobby once.

Hi just wondering about 30/32 mhz these frequencies do not seem to be asigned to anybody, if this correct why is nobody using them there several radios that us freebanders use that would reach these frequencies. Just a thought, interested in other peoples thoughts on this.

Theres plenty of echo charlie freqs already being used either side of the ham bands.............. :whistle:

14ft 6" wire dipole should be resonant on 32mhz..... :cheers:

wander phones and baby alarms still use this part of band !
and EC STILL use 1.7 not 1.2
to find out what freq is for ,just bang the freq in google search
and the info will come up
allways check before you use any freq never use willy nilly
you will cause possible interferance to primary users
Hi thanks for the replies guys this is why i was asking do'nt want to key up on a freq that could problems for other people i will be looking into the possiblity of use some other freq or might take exam and get licenced

Don, Thats proberbly your better option, To go and take the Ham licence, Your not loosing anything by doing it, Your only gaining and it doesnt stop you from still using the CB ..
