An ancient & venerable retired CB'er has just cleared his tool shed & come across a Zetagi B35 Power Amplifier which & he has now donated to my own pile of bits. I'm not at all well informed on radio technical issues (which is why I wont take a screwdriver to a radio!) and wondered if anyone can remember how much oomph this model produces? I Googled for that & any other info but essentially could only find that it was primarily for FM use. Appreciate any info. Jim

Ive a zetagi B30 here, it will do about 25 watts, it uses a 2sc1307 as the RF device, it doesnt have a relay for switching, instead it uses switching diodes for this and as such it requires power to it at all times. it does work really well, althought it did need the 'bias' arrangement to be up-graded as, as it was it did sound scratchy on ssb. Is this any simulare to your amp ? Mark |
