I have just found the following link & thought it may interest some here.
http://www.freewebs.com/meterbands/pdfs/Echo-Charlie-bandplan.pdf

It's good to hear activity is taking place. Back in the 80's 6.6 was VERY busy. With AM still being used. Currently 3.4 t0 3.5 (approx) or 85 meters sounds the busiest.
Anyone else listening?

I have been known to "accidentally" scan down onto the Echo Charlie bands from time to time :$ and it can be an interesting place to SWL (though technically not-legal even to listen as they're not authorised Transmissions).

We have had a couple of Threads on the topic (e.g. http://s3.zetaboards.com/copythat/topic/7418383/1 ) in the past, and Simon-the-Wizard commented just the other day that 13MHz has been very busy of late in Germany and with some Worldwide stations heard.

Whilst Ofcom don't seem to bother too much with SSB 11 Meter operators........this is a sure fire way to get in bother and if your licenced get that revoked.
Also if you are licenced you have 80 and 40 meters both sides of it anyway ,so pretty pointless I say.

Personally speaking all I am really interested in now is listening. & I dob't have a licence to loose, not that that ever stopped me, or happened. I was involved in broadcasting etc when I was licenced & have to say.... don't forget offshore broadcasting from the 60's to the 80's had many licenced amateurs involved.
Personal exsperience is that unlicensed radio has always been largely populated by licenced amateurs & I would guess that's still the case. As many do levitate towards a licence as a first step of being a radio enthusiast.
