So what is your issue? I do not own a 6 element yagi but can comment that it would not work for me without even trying it? Do not think so. It is hard to look at a small photo on a website and decide how the antenna is. You need to touch it, look at it, key a mike, see an swr and then can make more comments about something that is my opinion. Sure can be wrong. I was told the GM was crap, I bought 3, melted 3 so was not impressed. Sirio tells 1kw short time CW on adverts and check the other link as was told today NO its 500w MAX so that is not good either... Video will be made asap, will use the antenna @1500m for the AM event so we see how it is there. Am not sure how the metal tip for swr will be when rest is fibreglass. Sure the judges are out now on how it will be, but you have to commend them for having new products, new antennas, BRITISH MADE and would think more people should back this as an idea as VAT rises for you guys in January so will be more cash I guess. Just let hope we have some conditions and do not melt this too

Why should I be banned??.....every one has the same chances I have ,just get the plastic out and pick up the phone Richy.Or sit on the fence In my opinion for what its worth, I feel the TP5 to be a different animal to the SGM.Plus it's a cheaper option for those who want to spend less. As the Sirio is a bit fiddly building, I feel it's a build it then put on a pole/tower antenna. Where the new TP5 is ideal for putting together on a hill top.......that's my plan for summer.....I'll do my tests in January as I'm having a few health issues at the moment.

It all depends what you think the right frequency is Richy?. Now I think it would be rather foolish of me (or anyone else),TXing out of band and showing this to the world. There are way too many "Band Bobbies" who view Youtube as well as using the radio. So for reviews I choose the 100% legal option of using all modes including AM and SSB on 10 meters. I'm sure Charlie Tango admin doesn't condone the use of ilegal frequencies and Modes. |

Once you have cut the top for CB then you are stuffed until make another top for 10m. I cut mine to 28500 and then cut another antennas element for 11m and that way can have both bands. Would be nice if they could supply maybe 2 tips and then you could change them when needed |

hi simon. i did have a look on youtube at your video on the tp5 and it seems to be working good! not sure if its your location but it did seem to have a low noise floor? was also very curious that it was 1 s point up on the venom 1/2 wave? thats really good for just wire encased in fibreglass!! 73 |

Well it happened with the Venom. Cannot say more really. And with the antenna, yes maybe it is the QTH who knows but can work stuff well from here and also always not alot of noise unless mobiles are being charged and then always loud QRM from those little chinese chargers. Saying that will see when conditions are back again here. Will up the Gain Master once more with the new insides and see what happens once more. In the meantime only had good comments with the TP5 and seems to hear well. Not been on all the time as other things to do, but seems to be ok |

I understand the antennas are in stock, well they were when mine was sent. The location here sits at 449m above sea level and there is another 40-50m to the base of the antenna. So it is nice placed, 360 view for many km and all seems ok. Later today the Gain Master kisses the skies one more time snow depending and see how it works versus the TP5 |

Well, I've decided to invest in one. It arrived yesterday morning, but I won't be trying it out until Saturday when I go up on some high ground. So if anyone's about Saturday, I'll probably be on CH32 UK FM or trying it out on 27.555USB, so give me a shout
